tips for preparing your files for digital printing

Always include 3mm bleed on all sides of each page of your document.
Please save your PDF file with trim/fold marks.
Always keep any text and/or important information 5mm from the trim edge.
We always prefer the client, wherever possible, to supply us with a proof so that we can check it against the file that we receive.
Images should have a resolution of 300dpi.
Text in Illustrator/Corel Draw files must be converted to outlines before saving.
Always embed fonts when creating a PDF.
Do not set up your document with facing pages.
Please supply files as single, subsequent pages only (not spreads).
Files can not exceed 320mm x 450mm to allow for bleed and trim marks.
You can send us your file via email (artwork@digitalpress.com.au), FTP, or send a CD.
Click here to download our settings for exporting using Acrobat Distiller.
